Ribbon Sculpture
Linked chains, Möbius bands, knots and a torus of interlocking rings, sculpted from ribbons of fine chevron ribs. The side of the band facing you picks the pen, so every twist and fold shows.
Pens
The first two pens are the two sides of the ribbon, so every twist and fold shows. From three pens the wall shadow gets its own color, and more pens split each side by loop, then along the band. Starts with 2 pens and works with anywhere from 1 to 8.

Form, Links, Link spacing, Knot, Rings, Coils, Ribbon width, Half twists, Fold sharpness, Band angle (°), Width swell, Swells per loop, Pattern, Rib spacing (mm), Slant, Group size, Back side, Edges, Lengthwise threads, Shadow on the wall, Tilt (°), Turn (°), Spin (°).
The preview uses the default settings on A4. Press R in the app for random variations. The SVG export is in millimetres with one Inkscape layer per pen, so it works with the AxiDraw extension, vpype and saxi.
