Interlaced knotwork on a grid of dots, with breaks that turn the plait into panels and loops.
Pens
Each continuous woven loop keeps one color. Starts with 4 pens and works with anywhere from 1 to 8.
Settings
Dot spacing (mm), Breaks, Break density, Frame every (dots), Openings in frames, Lines per band, Band width (% of spacing), Crossing gap (mm), Mirror over/under.
The preview uses the default settings on A4. Press R in the app for random variations. The SVG export is in millimetres with one Inkscape layer per pen, so it works with the AxiDraw extension, vpype and saxi.
